At Cadence Pilates, comfort comes first, especially when you’re lying down. This is a space where traditional downlights simply don’t belong, so the lighting design focuses on reflection, softness and balance.
In the main studio, Unios Vespa uplights wash the ceiling with gentle, indirect light, paired with Iris pendants by A-N-D to add rhythm and visual focus. Luna Mini LED strip lighting is tucked neatly behind the mirrors, providing depth and glow without glare. The smaller studio continues the indirect approach, with Unios LX linear lights suspended to deliver uplighting and an even, calming ambience.
At the front of house, Volum pendants from Lodes sit above the reception desk, creating a warm and welcoming arrival. Ion R wall washers softly illuminate the rear wall, while Pluto wall lights line the hallway, adding atmosphere and a sense of movement through the space.
In the consulting rooms, walls are gently washed using Unios surface-mounted strip lighting, ensuring the lighting remains comfortable, functional and free from harsh shadows.
The result is a thoughtfully lit studio that feels calm, considered and perfectly tuned to the way the space is actually used, proof that great lighting design starts with understanding how people feel in a room.
